Noughty hair care review

Hey everyone! Hope you are all keeping safe and well. While we have been on lockdown I have been trying out some new hair care products for you. I have still been using Olaplex but my scalp has flared up really dry and this is usually down to stress so when Noughty hair care got in touch and gifted me these products I was more than happy to try them out.

So first of all I LOVE the packaging, it’s really girly and inviting, you get a good amount of product when you only need a small amount to lather up. The natural hair care slogan is what sucked me in at 97% natural ingredients at an affordable price is something we don’t see very often.

They’re a “cruelty free and vegan friendly brand” which I love also. They do not contain any parabens, sulphates or silicones, which as a hairdresser is so important. A shampoo that contains sulphates which most shop bought do can lead to dry and brittle hair. While the sulphates remove dirt from your scalp they will also remove natural oils from you hair. This is especially important when using on hair extensions also. Parabens can also be harmful and have been found present in a lot of breast tumour cases so you definitely don’t want those in your products. Lastly silicone, you do not want to coat your hair with plastic do you? The more silicone in your hair the more chance it will break. This is why a lot of hairdressers will recommend the best product that don’t contain these ingredients.

Care taker shampoo and conditioner for sensitive scalps

I have washed my hair a few times now. My scalp has felt less itchy and really soothed when I washed it in the shower; my hair feels shiny and volumized also. I then used the scalp tonic on places where my scalp has been dry and a little leave in conditioner on the ends to help smooth out my blow dry. I will definitely be recommending these products as a cheaper alternative to some of the more expensive range I usually like to promote at the salon.

Price wise they’re really reasonable.

Care taker shampoo 250ml £6.99

Care taker conditioner 250ml £6.99

Scalp tonic 75ml £9.99

Leave in conditioner 150ml £6.99

They do hair care for all types of hair and I have seen a lot of rave reviews on their curly hair range. So for you girls who are leaving those natural curls out right now then go check them out.

Let me know if you guys have used this brand, your thoughts and any others you recommend to try.

We are off to spend some family time at the park now, making the most of lockdown life together. Have a great day.

Love Sam xx
